Three network connected cameras are available on the LAN.
The remote location is being used for PTZ Camera control and video switching with vMix.
Video cameras can be added to Hive via a USB or IP connection.
At the remote location, Hive can be used for PTZ Camera control, video switching and camera adjustments such as color correction. Hive can run in any web-browser or running in a Windows or Mac PC.
vMix is running at the remote location. vMix can capture each video source from the remote LAN via the NDI video outputs from Hive.
PTZOptics Move SE and Move 4K cameras are Hive-Linked.
Example Camera Workflow
Local Area Network – Three network connected cameras are available on the LAN. The PTZOptics Move 4K is Hive-Linked and can be connected directly to the cloud. The additional PTZ Camera and Box cameras are supported in Hive but are not Hive-Linked and will require the Hive software running on a Mac or PC computer on the LAN.
Remote Location – The remote location is being used for remote PTZ Camera control and remote video switching with vMix. Hive can output NDI video for use with vMix are the far end.
Remote Computer – At the remote location, Hive can be used for PTZ Camera control, video switching and camera adjustments such as color correction. Hive can run in any web-browser or running in a Windows or Mac PC.
Cameras – Video cameras can be added to Hive via a USB or IP connection. HDMI and SDI connections must be connected with a capture cade. Hive support NDI, RTSP, and ONVIF IP video sources.
Hive-Linked Cameras: PTZOptics Move SE and Move 4K cameras are Hive-Linked. This allows you to connect your camera directly to your Hive Studio. Once connected, the camera will automatically connect to your studio when the camera boots up.
Cameras with the “Hive-Linked” badge can connect directly to Hive from a local area network (LAN) to the cloud.
